Anna Burai was born in Budapest, Hungary on January 2, 1992. Her passion for music and singing has been present since her childhood. She has been started to play in bands since 2004 as a lead singer/guitarist, and was also practicing the art of acting. Anna wrote her first song at the age of 13 and has had more or less experience in different styles (from pop through metal to electronic music). In 2015, she released her first single and EP under the name Hello Annie, then a year later relocated to London to study vocals, songwriting and production at London College of Creative Media. Her second EP ’Under London Skies’ debuted on online streaming platforms in September, 2018.

Experience

Between 2010 and 2016, Anna had gigs in the biggest clubs of Budapest and also in other major Hungarian cities as a lead singer. Her former band Over Help was supporting act before such bands as Leander (later Leander Rising), Depresszió, Fish!, The Grenma, or Superbutt. She also had the chance to support Jinjer and Leander Rising with the Tumor Called Marla. After moving to London, Anna continued performing with a university band and recruited like-minded musicians to record her EP ’Under London Skies’.

  • Debut of single ’Rêveuse’ on Sláger FM (Juventus), one of Hungary’s biggest radio stations on April 1, 2015.
  • 40-minutes interview on Lánchíd Radio, which also played ’Rêveuse’
  • The X-Factor Hungary (2013) – top 150
